We are thrilled to announce that our alumnus, Ananda More (class of 2005) will be debuting her film Magic Pills in Toronto in early April, 2018.
Magic Pills the Movie was the Winner of Best Feature Documentary at The Around The World Film Festival Amsterdam October Edition. It has been featured in the Awareness Film Fest in LA, screened in Mexico at the Queretaro International Documentary Festival and at the Illuminate Film Festival in Sedona.
First-time filmmaker, Ananda More, Hom, DHMHS is no stranger to storytelling. She has a background in theater where she embraced all crafts including, writing, directing, and acting. She is a registered Homeopath and co-owner of Riverdale Homeopathy a community hub, bookstore, and homeopathic dispensary in Toronto. Ananda sits on the board of the Ontario College of Homeopaths, and previously sat on the board of the OHA.
Her debut film Magic Pills exposes what publications and media in general don’t dare discuss regarding health and financial interests.
Our current medical system is broken. It focuses on profits and disease, rather than people and wellness. It has few answers for chronic illness, and many of the treatments have side effects that can be worse than the original illness they’re meant to treat.
Homeopathy could be one of the more affordable and effective forms of medicine available. It’s been used to treat everything from Cancer to AIDS and even to prevent disease with very compelling results. There is an increasing body of evidence in the scientific literature to support the 200 years of clinical homeopathic experience, but this evidence is concealed and falsely ridiculed by a system afraid of alternatives.
We made this film to shine a light on the scientists, doctors, and health practitioners whose work has been hidden from the public, wrongfully discredited and silenced in the name of skepticism and public protection.
The film examines large scale use of homeopathy in disease prevention, cancer treatment and AIDS/HIV along with very compelling scientific research and evidence to support the idea that homeopathy is not only plausible but effective and affordable.
Ananda travels the world in this film and uncovers whether homeopathy is truly science-based and effective or a mere placebo that endangers lives.
