It is with great pride that we, the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine (OCHM) announce that our Diploma Program in Homeopathy and Health Sciences with Clinical Internship is an approved program recognised by the College of Homeopaths of Ontario!
What does this mean for our students and patients of Homeopathy?
It means that:
Our curriculum meets and exceeds the standards and competencies created by the College of Homeopaths
Our graduates are confident to treat patients successfully
Our high educational standards put the health and safety of our patients first
Accountability and public protection go hand in hand and we are accountable to our regulatory college and therefore the public through this approval
OCHM is the only not for profit educational institution approved by The College of Homeopaths of Ontario, offering the most comprehensive Homeopathic education and clinical training. To learn more about the OCHM Advantage, please click here.
In 2007 Bill 171 was passed legislating and enacting Homeopathy as a newly regulated health profession in the province of Ontario under the RHPA. OCHM was a vocal and tireless advocate of this historic process which resulted in the integration of Homeopathy into the healthcare system.
The official Proclamation of the Homeopathy Act took place on April 1, 2015.
Homeopathy is now a self-regulated health profession in the province of Ontario.
OCHM programs, including the clinical internship, exceed the requirements set forth by The College of Homeopaths of Ontario.
We are very proud of the legacy we have built in Ontario. We will continue to train Homeopaths to the highest standard in education and practice and we will continue to serve our community for years to come.
Here’s to a wonderful future!
In good health,
Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine
