Faecalis. Predisposed types: stress due to inability to communicate, history of institutionalization, deeply suppressed. Gaertner. Predisposed types: active, bright, overactive minds with undernourished bodies. Etiology: infective, antibiotics, drugs. Disturbances: immune or autoimmune, malabsorption syndromes, inflammatory arthritis. Principle locations: small intestine, lymphatics, glands, spleen. GI pathophysiology: diarrhoea, bloody stool, defective absorption.
Morgan-Gaertner. Predisposed types: socially dysfunctional/challenged; pale, apprehensive, anxious, post-menopausal women. Etiology: sedentary habits, poor diet, food-borne bacterial toxins, stress, drugs. Disturbances: low grade chronic GIT inflammation, menopause, immunological disturbances, liver and renal tract. GI pathophysiology: Flatulence, distention, heartburn
