The Aquas is an essential group of Homeopathic remedies that are often overlooked and little studied.
These remedies are made from water βprimarily, but not exclusively, from mineral springs. This challenges homeopaths in that they usually comprise various minerals, each representing a different personality type and set of symptoms.
Alicia Lee describes the overriding theme in the Aquas as βEmotional Over-Sensitivity.β Sub-themes include βDesiring to beget and have children: love for childrenβ and βRemembering the past and being unable to move on: Ongoing Emotional Pain.β
In the webinar, we will look at the Aquas as a group. We will study the most prescribed Aquas and a selection of lesser-known others. Alicia Lee counts ninety-nine waters proven and made into homeopathic remedies!
I aim to introduce you to these remedies and help you identify where you can use them in your practice to heal your patients.
I will draw on the two books below, on provings and descriptions in our Materia Medica. I will illustrate with cases of my own and those of others.
Resources:
Only two resources discuss these remedies as a group (see below). Therefore, during the webinar, I will draw on these books, provings, and cases (mine and others).

I fell in love with Homeopathy in 1981 when my husband and I took our oldest child to see Louis Klein in Vancouver, B.C. for treatment.Β We knew nothing about Homeopathy, but we saw it as our last chance, having tried everything else.
The consulting process and the perspective on healthΒ and disease β not to mention the results- impressed me deeply. When I purchased some books and began reading Kent, my love for this Art and Science grew further.
We eventually made our way to England, where I studied professionally at Purton House School of Homeopathy. I practiced in Saffron Walden and Cambridge for several years. I also registered with the Society of Homeopaths in 1998, of which I am still an overseas member. Finally, we returned to Canada in 1999, where I graduated from Louis Kleinβs post-grad Homeopathic Master Practitioner programme and practiced and taught homeopathy in several provinces.
We moved to Ontario in 2009 – to Ottawa and, later, to the village of Vankleek Hill.Β During that time, I was a registered member of the College of Homeopaths of Ontario, the provincial regulatory body.
COVID and the distance from our family drew us back to Penticton, B.C., where I now live with my husband and two cats.Β I practice, teach, mentor, and supervise students on Zoom.
I continually study homeopathy and I regularly attend seminars and webinars with many wonderful teachers. Important influences on my homeopathic understanding and education are Louis Klein, Jan Scholten, Ulrich Welte, Michal Yakir, Deborah Collins, Markus Kuntosch, Peter Tumminello, and Jonathan Hardy.
My love for homeopathy has only grown over the years. Yet, I continue to be impressed and astonished at its largely unseen and unrecognized potential for dramatically changing peoplesβ lives.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
