CASE TAKING METHODS: DIGGING DEEPER
TO FIND A COMPLETE SENSATION

Case Taking Methods: Digging Deeper to Find a Complete Sensation

Date/time: Sunday, January 9th, 2022 (10am – 6pm EDT) | Cost: $75 | Lecturer: Joy Burlton

Do you find yourself getting frustrated with how to take a deeper case? How to find the unique symptoms when repertorising in a sea of polychrests that have already been tried?

These complex and deeper cases are my passion.

When all of the obvious choices have been tried, or before that occurs, how do we dig to a deeper level to find a truly healing remedy? We will explore different methodologies to getting a deeper case involving sensations and themes such as those developed and popularised by R Sankaran, and the Bombay group, and shorten, pure classical case taking, the historical timeline casetaking to find out where things are stuck.

Bring your case-taking to the next level.

This will be an experiential lecture with involvement from participants to further their skills as well as watching and critiquing a video case. Themes, keywords, sensations and remedies are always waiting for discovery below the surface of the case, it is the artist in the homeopath that can help to bring it to the surface, and we will explore exactly how to do that!

We look forward to seeing you online soon!

Bring your enthusiasm, questions and curiosity to learn. This is going to be a FULL day’s class, accessible over ZOOM.

Instructor: Joy Burlton BSc, DHMHS, HOM

Joy Burlton received her Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree from the University of Western Ontario, always having had an interest in medicine. After a lot of investigation into different modalities she discovered homeopathy and found it to be a perfect fit for the type of deep healing she valued.

Homeopathy, she found was the perfect tool to aid others in experiencing this type of healing and lasting health. She then went on to achieve Honours in her four-year post-graduate Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Health Sciences at the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine (OCHM).

Joy is a licensed Homeopath and has been practising in Toronto since 2007. She has enjoyed growing her practice and raising more awareness about homeopathy in Toronto and surrounding areas. Joy is part of the faculty at OCHM and is a clinical supervisor. Our students love her depth and breadth of knowledge and the many case examples she brings to her teaching.
