DESCRIPTION:Acute Pediatric Prescribing with Inna Dolgopolsky. Inna has a busy practice with a strong clinical background in treating acute illnesses in children. We are thrilled to have her share her experience and expertise.\nInna Dolgopolsky – Classical Homeopath, founder of Vital Force ID – Homeopathy and Family Wellness Centre\nAcute pediatric illnesses are commonly seen by homeopaths in their day to day practice. In this lecture, we will be covering:\n– acute vs. chronic disease; a classical Hahnemannian Homeopathic approach\n– phases of childhood – newborn, infants, toddlers and children and typical acute ailments of each phase\n– homeopathic treatment of main acute conditions – respiratory, mouth, skin, digestive, fevers, ear nose and throat conditions, dentition\n– cases and materia medica of the main remedies\nMore specifically, this lecture will examine acute conditions in infants (colic, dentition, nose congestion, diarrhea, constipation, insomnia, conjunctivitis / lachrymal blocks, umbilical issues), ailments of toddlers (otitis media, colds, coughs, fevers, rhinitis, bronchitis, croup, digestive / appetite disturbances, temper tantrums, traumas, impetigo), and of older children (allergies, asthma, contagious infections), etc.\nClinical applications will include analysis of the most important symptoms, allowing for a ‘on the spot” selection of a remedy, potency and differential diagnosis.\nThe points of observations for the first and subsequent visits will be discussed.
